GSVlabs and xEdu Start Trans-Atlantic Accelerator Collaboration

Helsinki and Redwood City, May 11th 2016

A multi-year collaboration agreement was signed between leading education accelerator programs GSVlabs and xEdu at the ASU GSV Summit in San Diego in April.

“GSVlabs is thrilled to partner with xEdu to enable truly global impact for learning innovation. Converging our two ecosystems will increase capacity for EdTech entrepreneurs to deeply leverage a network of first class mentors, curriculum, and other enablers that will drive both substantial growth and return on education.” says Kathy Benemann, General Manager of GSVlabs.

“We are excited to collaborate with GSVlabs. Their presence in the heart of Silicon Valley along with their extensive mentor and partner school networks makes GSVlabs an ideal beachhead and go-to-market partner to the US market for companies in our accelerator program. At the same time we offer our networks and market access in Northern Europe for GSVlabs-accelerated companies. It is a true win-win for everyone involved.” says Antti Korhonen, CEO of xEdu.

GSVlabs’ EdTech Innovation Lab accelerates more than 50 EdTech start-ups in the 72,000 square foot home base at the epicenter of Silicon Valley. With a team of industry experts, the Innovation Lab provides focused content and coaching designed to help EdTech companies grow and thrive.

Based in Helsinki, Finland, xEdu is Northern Europe’s leading education accelerator. The application period for the Fall 2016 program is open until the 5th of June.
